Twilight bounded across the fertile grass like a doe , overcoming the daylight's brightness and soothing it with a more softer color. The sky was a spectacular display of a wide variety of oranges and pinks , purples and blues ; and to add on to that , the massive , fiery red sun stalked patiently on the horizon , looking as if it had been dipped in a pool of blood. The breeze was soft and warm , it smiled upon the land as it brushed the lush undergrowth , cautious not to further harm any of nature's creatures. The ear-pulsing hot summer air was still and calm , peaceful , making the first couple of stars visible in the indigo sky. They sparkled faintly in the far distance , a crescent moon began to reveal itself from concealment.
A southbound river slit itself between the two monarchies , causing a thin divide line , barely able to keep out any threat besides its overbearing rapids. However , it proved very useful in order to distinguish the boundary lines for the territories , and helped keep the limited peace. This wouldn't stop any war from breaking out , which could happen at any unexpected time of day. The deep , dark , suspicious waters of the river were now painted over with the many colors of sunset , like a savage's mask to conceal what lay within. The rapids trickled a bit quieter this evening , but remained loud compared to the quietness of the land.
The sound of rushing water attracted a certain feline. It wove its way through the forest , lithe and silent , a predator in the night. Its golden - orange pelt stood out bright against the pale , saturated colors of the woods. The pelt rippled with every silent paw step , the muscles clearly visible and bulging as they propelled the large body through the undergrowth. Triangle shaped ears swirled atop the cat's cranium , catching every sound they could , and warning of any other presence. A small pink nose paid no attention to scents , however , and long , white whiskers helped guide the cat through the overgrown flora.
After a long day of exploring the west monarchy territory , and keeping an eye out for intruders , Fayde wanted some peace of mind. The couple hours he spent with his sister were enough to make him want to drive her off a cliff. He definitely needed some time to himself , and he knew the perfect place for such an idea.
The male followed the trickling sounds of flowing water , and eventually , after a good half hour of traveling , he finally came upon the River. He stopped in his tracks once the forest disappeared into a clearing , slashed with a deep river through the middle , perforated by many rocks and pebbles. He sighed in exhaustion , closing his deep blue eyes for a moment before padding toward the water's edge. He jumped on top of a large rock , and sat there , looking down upon the rushing water and taking in the peacefulness.
The sun was only half visible now , it had lost its bloody color and now took on the form of a rusty orange. The sky was pink and purple , and the creatures of the night could be heard , rustling in the near distance. Fayde sat calmly on the rock , his large , fluffy tail hanging off the side of it , and waited patiently.
No one was alone for too long in this place , and he just hoped his soon - to - be company wasn't looking to make a meal out of him.

Small ebony paws lazily roamed over, what seemed to be, black Earth. Her white frame was strongly juxtaposed in the night, no matter how much light the moon gave off, everything seemed to be a shade of grey. Juliana was so attracted to the sound of the rapids. So steady and peaceful, it took her away from reality and all the cons that come with it. She was hoping to come and rest, alone, but she could already smell another soul. Juliana wasn't entirely positive on who it was, all she could see was a fluffy figure. Most likely a male given the size, so all she could hope for right now was that it was a Noble or Baron. Since her hopes were bubbling, her flirtatious ways instantly kicked in and her steps became much more precise, one right in front of the other. Juliana had to look her best, even if he would just end up being a serf. As she got, she made sure to step on a few twigs to make she her presence was noted. Don't worry, I'm friendly, purred the flirty serf to the stranger. She hopped up next to him on the rock and stared out at the horizon, brushing her tail against is. Then Juliana looked over at him and smiled, I think I've seen you around before. You're a serf, correct? From her own perspective, he didn't seem to have the air of a noble. Not as trim and proper as most she had seen before.
